CANTINA DEL CASTELLO

Classification: Still red wine.

Grapes: Corvina 70%; Molinara 15%; Rondinella 15%.

Production area: Vineyards located in the Valpolicella DOC area, at an elevation of 150-200 meters above sea level; Training system: Simple veronese pergola.

Food matches: recommended with meat dishes, main courses or some strongflavor fish dishes like baccalà alla vicentina.

Serving temperature: 12-13°C.

Description: ruby red with purple highlights. Perfumes of red fruit with a predominant cherry aroma. The palate is fresh and easy to drink with a medium finish.

We firmly believe that our actions in the vineyard and in the cellar must have the least possible impact on our surrounding environment, for this reason we have decided to join the Biodiversity Friend protocol. We obtained in 2021 the BF certification on our Pressoni vineyard. What does Biodiversity friend mean and what actions are needed to protect the biodiversity?
