During the November 5th tasting at the Soave Consortium, the JamesSuckling.com team recognized the excellence of our territory and its producers. Over the past few weeks, the JamesSuckling.com tasting team evaluated 372 wines, focusing mainly on the latest releases from Spain’s Gredos region, Santa Barbara in California, and Soave in Italy.

A land that makes the difference
The “Classico” designation identifies the historic heart of Soave, the area where viticulture has taken root for centuries. Here, the soils form a fascinating mosaic of volcanic basalts, tuff, and limestone—elements that give the wines their distinctive mineral character and a rare aromatic finesse.
The hills are ideally exposed to the sun and well-ventilated, creating perfect conditions for the ripening of Garganega grapes, the true protagonist of this territory.
